Remembering to drink water before and during exams could make a big difference to the performance and outcome for over 2 million young people taking tests this summer. A recent study carried out by psychologists at the University of East London and University of Westminster showed that drinking just 300ml of water can boost attention by almost 25%. Studies has shown that drinking water positively affects cognitive functions including attention span, reducing stress and improving concentration.
