How Does the Zip HydroTap Work?

The Zip HydroTap is capable of dispensing 80 cups of boiling water and 100 glasses of chilled water per hour. The HydroTap is cost effective and environmentally friendly as it is connected directly into your mains water supply, with the water passing through a BRITA in-line filtration system that removes organic chemicals, tastes and odours, leaving only crystal clear, fresh tasting water. The HydroTap can be installed under your sink and the filtered water is dispensed via its own dedicated tap.

Innovative Tap Design

Designed for ease of use the operating lever has 2 non slip touch pads, showing red for boiling water and blue for chilled. Lifting the lever up will lock it on for serving large amounts of water to teapots, cafetiers, bottles and saucepans.

Worktop or Sink Installation

Choose between 2 types of installation:

• We will install the HydroTap for you (at a cost of £210.00) as long as the installation address is in the UK mainland.
• For an additional £40 install the tap on your worktop or any suitable surface using the unique tap font which drains to waste.

Energy Efficient

The Zip HydroTap is three times more efficient than an urn and much more efficient than a kettle in normal use. There are 2 choices of ‘sleep mode’ that can be set to power down the unit after 2 or 4 hours inactivity, you can also set the system to power up or down at predetermined times during the day. To avoid waste the tap will dispense water for no more than 15 seconds.

Easy Maintenance

Maintenance is easy the HydroTap requires only a filter change. Simply scroll down to purchase replacement filters.

Not a Bottle in Sight

The constant supply of mains filtered water ensures that time is not wasted handling heavy bottles, valuable storage space is not lost and there is no chance of running out of water even on hot days.

Dispenses Chilled & Boiling Water

An unlimited supply of either Chilled & Boiling Water can be adjusted to 98ºC which is hot enough to make cups of tea, coffee and other drink favourites.

Safety at Home and in the Office

No need to worry about cumbersome kettles and urns or the clumsy and dangerous power cables, the system also avoids the need for annual portable appliance testing. Cool to the touch the tap is fitted with a child proof safety lock.

Manufacturers Warranty

The HydroTap comes with a 12 months warranty on the system and a 5 year warranty on the tanks.
