| How does your UV Water Filter work? |
|
|
Most people have heard of Ultraviolet light, in fact we are
reminded constantly of the effects of UV radiation from the
sun. When harmful microbes are exposed to the Ultraviolet
rays, they absorb the UV energy which renders the cells sterile
and unable to reproduce. The cell is now considered dead and
no longer a threat.
There are no known micro-organisms resistant to UV, UV is
known to be highly effective against bacteria, viruses, algae,
molds and yeasts.
